I'm imagining a whole heartbreaking lesbian sideplot to genesis where lilith falls for and seduces adam's new wife, only to be left in the end after believing her love to be true. Maybe the serpent comes between them, convincing eve that lilith is unfaithful. The archetypal precursor of every subsequent infuriating lesbian heartbreak in literature.
